WALLS

The final product of your photo session is the creation of beautiful portraits to display in your home and to enjoy for years to come.

The best way to display portraits is to complement the images and the style of your decor. With lifestyle photography, groupings of portraits in a series make sense to tell your story. One standalone piece is best for a fine art landscape, or a perfectly posed portrait.

This display inspiration guide presents a number of customizable gallery ideas to show off your unique art.

ALBUMS

Our heirloom albums are specially printed just for you in a hardcover book, available in a variety of sizes and options. Designed with simple magazine style layouts from your session, the finished product looks exactly like an art book from a bookstore. Your custom layout is meticulously created by a talented graphic designer to best showcase your images in a tastefully modern yet timeless design.

“Leslie is amazing - professional, talented, and really knows her business. She took my son and now daughter-in-law's wedding photos, and they are outstanding. My parent album just arrived, and it has blown me away...I can't stop looking at it and re-living the happy moments. She has the eye that you want in a professional photographer, for perspective, lighting, and catching the special moments. During the event, she had a gentle but clear way of communicating how people should position themselves for the group portraits, resulting in beautiful work. And she was super patient with me through the album ordering process as it took me a while to make all the decisions required to finalize my album. I'd give her 10 stars if I could!”

Album Warranty and Care

Storage and Handling

Use the box: Keep the album inside its custom protective presentation box when not looking at it to shield it from dust, pet hair, and accidental scratches.

Control environment: Store the album flat or upright in a cool, dry area away from direct sunlight, extreme heat, and high humidity, which can warp or fade the archival pages and leather or linen covers.

Clean hands: Always handle the thick lay-flat pages with clean, dry hands to prevent natural skin oils and food residue from transferring to the photographic paper.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Wipe gently: Use a clean, dry, soft microfiber cloth to wipe down dust from the cover or interior pages.

Avoid liquids: Never use water, window cleaner, chemical sprays, or rough paper towels on the cover or photo spreads, as moisture and harsh chemicals can damage the protective coating and bindings.

GVP Studios Product Warranty

Your artwork is made to last, and we stand behind it. Each product is covered for 1 year from receipt against any manufacturing defects.

Please note, this warranty doesn’t cover normal wear, accidental damage, or exposure to extreme heat, cold, or moisture.

If your product is ever damaged, you can order a duplicate at 50% of the current* price because we believe beautiful memories deserve a second chance. 💛

FAQs

CAN YOU PHOTOSHOP ME?

Whether you have just delivered an infant, or are suffering a bad bout of acne, rest assured that lighting, camera lenses, and angles (coupled with retouching when needed) achieve the most flattering, natural poses with your wishes in mind.

Additionally, any large artwork you order will be blown up and retouched intricately before being sent to print.

WHAT SHOULD I BUDGET?

We are a custom photography studio, so we choose images to suit your lifestyle. Typically, wall art plus an album and gifts can bring an investment of $1500-$5500, once your session fee and studio reveal session discounts are applied.

WHY SHOULD I ORDER THROUGH THE STUDIO?

If you’re going to invest any money in your wall decor or heirloom albums, don’t waste it on cheap, mass produced, low-quality items just because they’re on sale. We are skilled in scale, decorating, color theory, and composition, and have access to the highest quality craftsmanship for your artwork. Take advantage of that knowledge for a full service experience.

Print release: for each purchased hi-res digital, you have unlimited printing rights for personal use up to 8x10”. Anything larger may be purchased through the studio.

Gift certificates & future session bookings: Are available for 25% off when added to your checkout invoice.

HOW DO I KNOW WHAT STYLE OF IMAGE WILL WORK BEST IN MY HOME?

You’re not a designer. No worries! We are. We’re here to assist not only with providing amazing images, but we also know décor. Bonus: If you can provide us with pictures of your home, we can determine your style and what types and sizes of art will work best with your decorating style. This is best delivered before we determine the location and wardrobe color palette.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO THE ORDERING SESSION?

Please bring measurements and photographs of your home when possible, along with ideas of items you’re seeking or areas you are considering displaying your portraiture. Pro tip: Take a straight on phone picture of a wall in your home with a piece of printer paper taped to the wall. We have software that can scale the wall size and project your images, so you can envision what a wall display will actually look like.

I DON’T HAVE TIME TO COME IN. CAN I CHOOSE IMAGES ONLINE?

Yes, you can. If you already know what you want for an end product, we will provide you with a proofing gallery open for one week to decide on your images. See our video in the print section of our website for a visual of the process.
