Our P Street loft is a curated retreat designed for a seamless, elevated photography experience. We’ve moved away from the sterile feel of a traditional studio, offering instead a light-filled indoor space that opens into a private courtyard framed by olive trees and bougainvillea.

Every detail is centered around your comfort. You can begin your day in our optional professional hair and makeup suite, then transition between the studio and nearby local parks for a blend of polished and natural portraits. Between sets, relax in our lounge or visit the design center to explore our collection of custom frames and heirloom albums. It’s a space built for collaboration, quiet luxury, and timeless results.

  • Our studio is a dedicated space for capturing life’s most significant transitions and personal milestones, as well as “just because”. We specialize in sophisticated beauty portraiture for expectant mothers, documenting a baby’s first year, and creating elegant glamour portraits for women. Dog portraits are our favorite new speciality! We also welcome families for refined, curated sessions.

    Looking for an extra touch of polish? Our professional makeup suite is available by appointment, allowing you to enjoy a full "glam" experience by our in-house expert Lisa Massey, and feel your most confident before we step in front of the lens.

    For those looking to elevate their professional presence, our sister company, Apix, utilizes the studio to build high-end assets for personal and professional branding—perfect for websites, social media, and print collateral.

  • We believe the best results come from a shared vision. We encourage you to share Pinterest boards, mood imagery, or color palettes that resonate with you. During our consultation, we’ll use these as a foundation to tailor the lighting, backdrop, and styling to your specific aesthetic.

  • Located in a historic building with immense character, our loft is unlike any traditional photography set. The scale of our shooting space is a rare luxury; its footprint allows us to curate 4 to 5 entirely unique sets for your session, providing a diverse gallery of images without ever leaving the building.

  • The studio offers a controlled, private environment where we can manipulate light with absolute precision. You’ll have full access to our curated Client Closet, professional props, and our on-site hair and makeup suite. It’s an effortless, weather-proof experience focused entirely on the art of the portrait.

  • While we love the energy of a full house, some sessions thrive better in a wider environment. If you feel your children need room to run, if your dog is prone to restless barking, or if the session might be a bit too lively for our studio neighbors, we are more than happy to transition to an outdoor or in-home setting.

  • Absolutely. We offer mobile branding, in-home lifestyle portraits, and mobile pet studio sessions. This is an ideal choice for projects where the environment is part of the story, or if being in a familiar space helps you (or your pets) feel more relaxed and authentic.

  • Anywhere from 30 minutes to 2 hours. The duration of our sessions is entirely dependent on the rhythm of the day. A maternity or beauty session often requires extra time for wardrobe changes and styling adjustments, while a newborn session is intentionally unhurried to allow for feeding and changing breaks. Conversely, when working with small children, we often aim for a "quick and painless" approach to capture their best energy before a potential meltdown. We prioritize quality over a ticking clock, ensuring we get the shots we need without anyone feeling rushed.

  • We offer three distinct packages designed to meet different needs. Each tier includes a specific number of professionally retouched, high-resolution digital images. To ensure your portraits live beyond your screen, our middle and premier packages also include custom-made physical artwork—ranging from matted prints and heirloom albums to framed wall art. You are never locked into your initial choice; you’ll have the opportunity to upgrade your package or purchase additional pieces once you’ve viewed your proofs.

  • The process begins with a conversation. Simply fill out our contact form or give us a call. We’ll walk through your ideas, answer any lingering questions, and find a date on the calendar that works perfectly for you.
