Our loft studio at the Midtown Creative Group at Antiquities on P Street in Sacramento offers both indoor and outdoor portrait areas. Check out what our facility offers, including an optional hair and makeup artist, a private courtyard with olive trees and bougainvillea, custom design center artwork samples, a sitting area with streaming TV, and beautiful local parks for a hybrid studio/landscape session. Our main shooting space offers North and West facing windows, furniture, props, backdrops, and a baby and maternity closet.

Rules & Regulations
We are a working photography studio in a very old building with big heavy lights, electrical cords, audio/video equipment and imperfect wifi. Please read through these details before deciding to make a reservation.

Please be aware that we share the courtyard with other tenants and an event venue. While it offers privacy most of the time, it is not always available for your photo shoot, and if it is, we need to be respectful of our neighbors and not leave trash or make too much noise.
The second floor is accessible through stairs only. If you have someone who is unable to climb stairs, prearrange with us to schedule the courtyard or the first floor event space.
The entrance to the loft studio is through a gate to the side of the building. The hallway is not very wide, and is not ADA compliant. It is close to the building next door which has soffits that jut out at head level. We have padding along the building but please watch where you are walking and don’t be looking down at your phone.

Free roaming is not permitted. We have other business owners and tenants whose space and belongings must be respected.
We love kids and dogs, but we require that an adult is responsible for the wherabouts of each child and pup at all times. There are hazards all over the place. Our staff is concentrating on their job and cannot be in charge of chasing after anyone. We suggest bringing a friend or family member to help corral your group if you think it may be necessary.
Noise must be kept to a minimum. If excessive noise is disturbing other tenants, we may have to leave the studio and complete your session elsewhere.
There are sometimes events going on downstairs. Periodically, we will need to make limited noise if there is a yoga class, sound bath, speech, or wedding ceremony happening. We avoid making appointments during such events, so this is quite rare but may happen.
We know that our light stands, a/v equipment, and decorated sets look super fun to kids. However, these items cost thousands of dollars and our sets take days to get just right. Please be respectful of our workspace, and treat it like going to the Doctor or Dentist office. If our items aren’t being respected, we will have to end your session early or relocate.
