Summer Mini Sessions at Black Miner's Bar, Folsom
I am so excited to bring mini sessions back to one of my favorite Folsom spots this summer. On July 31st, I will be at Black Miner's Bar for a small evening of quick, easy, and beautiful sunset sessions right along the water.
If you have been wanting updated photos but do not need (or want) a full hour long session, this is exactly what you are looking for.
Why Black Miner's Bar
This spot is one of my go to locations for a reason. The waterfront gives us that soft, reflective evening light and a natural, relaxed backdrop, while the open fields nearby are perfect for a little movement, some laughter, and that golden, sun soaked look everyone wants in the summer. Between the water and the open grass, we have everything we need for a session that feels effortless and looks stunning.
Who These Sessions Are For
Mini sessions are flexible, but this particular evening is especially great for:
Families who want simple, current photos without committing to a long session. Bring the kids, bring the dog, let's just have fun for twenty minutes and get you images you will actually love.
Seniors who need quick, updated portraits for announcements, applications, or just because. This is a low pressure way to get polished photos in under half an hour.
Anyone who wants a fast, easy taste of a summer sunset session without the planning that comes with a full length shoot.
What to Expect
These are quick sessions, typically twenty minutes, designed to be simple and low stress. We will move between the waterfront and the open field depending on the light and what works best for your group. No long shot lists, no overthinking it. Just good light, a beautiful location, and real moments.
One Important Detail: Parking
Black Miner's Bar is part of Folsom Lake State Recreation Area, so a Poppy Pass or a $12 day use fee is required to park. Please plan for this ahead of time so we can start your session right on schedule.
Ready to Book?
Evening spots on July 31st are limited since we only have so much golden hour to work with. If you have been wanting simple, beautiful summer photos of your family or a quick senior portrait update, this is the easiest way to get them.
