Outdoor Portraits in November and December
Our outdoor sessions this month have been pure magic. Folsom Lake reflecting amber skies. Families walking hand-in-hand through the parks of Fair Oaks. Couples laughing as the wind dances through the last leaves of the season. These sessions are more than portraits — they’re the comfort of belonging, the beauty of this region, and the artistry of timing it just right before winter settles in.

This month, the studio has been happily overrun with dogs. Golden Retrievers, Dachshunds, rescue pups — all with their own personalities and stories. Photographing pets takes patience, humor, and a love for unpredictability, but the reward is unmatched. There’s something real about a wagging tail or a tongue-out grin that can’t be staged.
