Our beauty and maternity sessions, paired with professional hair and makeup by our in-studio beauty specialist, Lisa Massey, are a Valentine’s gift you can give yourself. February offerings include limited winter light engagement sessions in our Midtown loft and select outdoor locations, Valentine’s mini-sessions ideal for save-the-dates or meaningful keepsakes, and early booking opportunities for 2026 and 2027 weddings. As we close out 2025, our hearts at GVP Studios are full. This year brought so many beautiful stories into our Midtown loft — from newborn snuggles and teary engagement reveals to branding sessions that helped local professionals and small businesses shine. We are endlessly grateful for every family, couple, baby, graduate, pup, and entrepreneur who stepped in front of our camera. Thank you for trusting us with your most meaningful memories. There’s something quietly magical about September at GVP Studios—our courtyard is bursting with bougainvillea in full blush, and the afternoon light turns every portrait into art. This month, we’re keeping things lush and honest: fall minis in Sacramento and Napa, our doors wide open for Sac Open Studios on September 13–14, and a sprinkle of Halloween charm for cozy studio shoots. Plus, we’re looking ahead to holiday minis and always keeping our heart open to your milestones, memories, and stories.

This month, GVP Studios is opening up our first floor event space for scheduled and drop-in 5-minute portraits. August is the perfect time to capture fresh photos for back to school and professional headshots, and our new Barkday Photos for Pups!
